Cheese

The aroma of Pecorino pervades the town of Pienza and it is possible to taste different types in one of the many local shops or at one of the farms. The other option would be to have some fun doing a cheese and wine tasting at your home or in Montisi. We will discover how the cheese is made, its nutritional value, debunking false myths during a two hour long tasting where we will combine three different cheeses with three different wines. You will understand how to appreciate each cheese and wine and why they go together. We will also show you the basics of pairing food and wine.
